02-14-07:  Holy crap, we had a great time rocking the crowd last Friday night! The Bank St. gigs are always special - click HERE to see why! There are nine pages of photos, if you were at the show you're probably in there somewhere!   ***NEXT GIG*** Our next performance will be on March 4th at Christopher's Cafe in Groton CT, for a special Branded Ones motorcycle club benefit party to help raise some funds to help out with Mr. Dave Furnault's -ahem!- legal fees... stay tuned for more details regarding show time etc. Thanks to everyone for supporting the band - we love you all!!!
01-30-07:  Lazy Shade Of Winter: The WAR PIGS have been doing NOTHING - except spending the cold Connecticut winter practicing a few new Black Sabbath classics to hit you all over the head with! Did someone say "Sabbath Bloody Sabbath?" Did someone say "Supernaut??"...  Speaking of winter, the band is emerging from their heated lair to play one of only a couple planned mid-winter shows next Friday  night (Feb. 9th) at the Bank Street Cafe in New London. It will be a kickass night of Metal Mayhem with local legends D.O.T. hitting the stage first, followed by Motorhead tribute What Would Lemmy Do and then finally, ultimately... the return of the WAR PIGS!!!   ALSO: As if the upcoming Bank St. show wasn't exciting enough, the long-lost photos from last summer's Burke's Tavern gig have been located - and posted HERE. Check it out, maybe YOU were there???
12-17-06:  The War Pigs had an amazing time last night, celebrating our lead singer's milestone birthday in style - by delivering yet another crushing performance to the Stash's faithful. With AC/DC tribute Dirty Deeds also in the house, things teetered between a '70's rock concert scene and a crazy party atmosphere all night long! Both bands rocked the house!!! And, of course... the pictures prove it - click HERE!! Thanks to all of our loyal fans for supporting us & we'll see you next year!!!
11-18-06: The morning after. There are a lot of people waking up around New London county with their ears ringing this morning! The War Pigs have built a good core of fans, and it showed once  again last night at Stash's down on the waterfront. THANK YOU to everyone who came down and supported the band - as Ozzy would definitely say: WE LOVE YOU ALL!!! Also a big thanks to RUST you guys sounded killer last night! And, how could we forget the most beautiful, most amazing thing of all that occurred last night: STASH'S SERVED UP SOME SCHLITZ!!!!!!     Ok, as usual there were tons of photos taken of all the action and you can check some of them them out HERE. ***NEXT GIG*** is Saturday night Dec. 2nd at the Bank St. Cafe with Hellborn and Motorhead tribute What Would Lemmy Do... this show is gonna kick ASS!!!
11-02-06: The Hygienic Art Park gig! The band ripped through a quick set of Sabbath classics amidst a scene that resembled "Night Of The Living Dead" in more ways than one! The venue was great, and the pictures prove it:  CLICK HERE!    ****NEXT GIG****  is with classic rockers  RUST on a Friday night at Stash's Cafe in New London, on November 17th!!! Rumour has it that Stash's might be adding classic SCHLITZ beer to the liquids menu - for one night only!!!

09-25-06: Wow what a crazy night at Stash's last Saturday! A lot of fans were sporting their new War Pigs t-shirts, and the headbanging once again reached epic proportions. It's simply amazing how songs that were written over thirty years ago still manage to thrill and enchant an audience! There are, as usual, some great photos from the show and you can check them out here. Next on the agenda: This Friday night, Sept. 29th at the Bank St. Cafe, in a Battle Of The Tribute Bands!!!  
09-10-06: Fall is in the air and with it, the approach of Halloween. The Hygienic Art Park in downtown New London is holding it's annual Halloween fundraiser, and Creepshow 2006 on Oct. 31st is slated to feature, in addition to performances by The Spores and The Suicide Dolls, a headlining set by none other than War Pigs - The Black Sabbath Tribute! This spooky event will take place in the Hygienic's fantastic outdoor arena - so plan to bring some brandy or something to warm up with! Stay tuned for more details about this really special show.
08-13-06: The War Pigs feel honored to have chipped in with a set that would make even the mighty Black Sabbath proud last Sunday at the Tommy Boyd Benefit. We hope we helped make the fundraiser a success! Five pages of photos from the show have been posted and you can check them out HERE. The band is planning to take a couple weeks for vacations but things fire up again in September with a couple of gigs in New London already booked - and some new WAR PIGS t-shirts in the works!!!
08-11-06: Ok, this Sunday, August 13th has the band performing a mid-afternoon set at Septembers nightclub in Waterford as part of the Tommy Boyd benefit with several other bands. 06-25-06: Unbelieveable. Metal fans streamed through the doors of New London's premier nightspot, Stash's Cafe, to catch hi-octane sets by RUST and WAR PIGS. The packed house went nuts, and in the process drank half of the available alcohol on the Eastern seaboard! Ok, next gig appears to be July 28th at New London's Bank Street Cafe!
